What is Reiki?

      Reiki is administered through the hands of the Reiki practitioner with the client lying clothed on a massage table.  The Reiki practitioner places their hands on various locations on the body, but tissue is not manipulated.  Reiki energy flows from the practitioner's hands into the client's body and energy field.  

      A Reiki session feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that surrounds and fills the client with feelings of relaxation, peace, and well-being that also promote healing.  Clients report help with stress, headaches, insomnia, upset stomach, sprains, as well as promoting psychological healing, releasing unhealthy feelings, and restoring confidence and tranquility. 

      Reiki, first developed in Japan, is becoming increasingly popular with the medical community in the US with over 800 hospitals offering Reiki as a standard part of hospital care.

What is Holy Fire Reiki?

Holy Fire Reiki is a new form of Reiki being introduced by the International Center for Reiki Training. It is both powerful and gentle and provides purification, healing, empowerment and guidance.  Holy Fire energy is noticeably more refined and comes from a higher level of consciousness. 


Qualities of Holy Fire Energy:


- Works continuously even when not thinking about it and spontaneously heals issues as they come up.
- Heals deeply and quickly without distress.
- Heals relationships and interactions with others.
- Releases worry and replaces it with a sense of safety in a most pronounced way.
- Spontaneously provides guidance that is palatable for every level of life experience.
- Tends to develop all the personality traits that are healthy for a person to have such as love of self and others, kindness, patience, confidence, vitality, enthusiasm, optimism, trust, joy, peace and so forth.

- One of the more wonderful effects is a feeling of being loved. This is a deep and refined feeling that is very nurturing.


Usui / Holy Fire Reiki Training Descriptions...

Usui / Holy Fire Reiki I Training with Desiree

Full-Day Training:   9:30 am - 5:30 pm

Class Fee: $150 

     An in-depth introduction to the practice of Reiki healing techniques. This all-day training is a combination of lecture, discussion, demonstration and practice time. Each student experiences giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using Byosen scanning and the hand placement system.


* Upon completion of this training, you will be certified as a Level I Reiki Practitioner.

* Training fee includes Level I & II Reiki Manual, and a Certificate.

* No previous experience required.
You will learn...

     - The origin and history of Reiki
     - The nature of Reiki energy, why people get sick and how Reiki heals
     - The Human Energy System (the aura, chakras, and meridians)
     - The complete hand placement system for both self treatment and healing others
     - Gassho meditation
     - Byosen Scanning: Using the sensitivity in the hands to locate areas needing healing
     - Reiji-Ho: Using inner guidance to know how and where to treat.
     - Kenyoku: Dry bathing, a method to purify your energy field

Usui / Holy Fire Reiki II Training with Desiree

Full-Day Training:   9:30 am - 5:30 pm

Class Fee: $200

​     This class offers a deepening in the study of Reiki. A focus of the training is the introduction to 3 sacred Reiki symbols, each with a specific quality to promote increased levels of healing. Participants learn how to integrate these symbols into their practice of Reiki, as well as how to send distance Reiki.


     * Prerequisite: Reiki I Training and Certificate (If you are interested in Reiki II training, and have already received Reiki I training from another Reiki Master, please e-mail a copy of your Reiki I certificate to spiritguidance33@gmail.com.  Please note that either an Usui / Tibetan Reiki I or a Holy Fire Reiki I certificate would allow you to be eligible for this class. ) 

     * Upon completion of this training, you will be certified as a Level II Reiki Practitioner. 

     * Training fee includes Reiki II Attunement and a certificate. 

You will learn...

     - Reiki II symbols: How to draw, activate and use them. 
     - Koki-ho: Using the breath to heal
     - Gyoshi-ho: Sending Reiki with the eyes
     - Techniques to perceive Auras and Past Lives 
     - Sending Reiki at a distance

Usui / Holy Fire Advanced Reiki Training (ART) 

Full-Day Training:   9:30 am - 5:30 pm

Class Fee:  $200


Take your Reiki healing energy to the next level in ART training. Through guided meditations, 

the introduction of the Usui Master symbol, and the power of the group, we will work together to deeply heal ourselves & each other. You will learn & practice advanced healing techniques that 

prepare you for Reiki Master Training.



Pre-Requisite: Reiki I & II Training completed at least 6 months prior to class. (If you received Reiki I & II training from any other Usui / Tibetan or Holy Fire Reiki Master, please scan and email a copy of your certificate to spiritguidance33@gmail.com.)


ART Training will include...


  • Introduction to the Usui Master Symbol, which further empowers your Reiki II symbols for deeper healing
  • Usui ART attunement which increases the strength of your Reiki energy
  • Practice using the Usui Master Symbol through partner healing
  • Reiki Moving Meditation
  • Use of crystals and stones with Reiki.
  • How to make a Reiki crystal grid that will continue to send Reiki to yourself and others after it is charged.
  • Reiki Aura Clearing that allows you to remove negative energy from yourself & others and send it to the light.
  • The Holy Love Experience in which Divine Love enters your heart.
  • ART / Reiki Master Class Manual written by William Lee Rand (182 pages)
  • Usui / Holy Fire ART Certificate


(Note: To give attunements and teach Reiki, you must continue to the Reiki Master level. However, Desiree & Gretchen are offering the possibility of just enrolling in ART training if you wish to simply receive the Usui Master symbol and not learn the attunement process.)

Usui / Holy Fire Reiki Master Training

Two-Day Training:   9:30 am - 5:30 pm  Both Days

Class Fee:  $600


You will be certified as a Reiki Master upon completion of this class, with the ability to attune and ignite others to Reiki. You will also be qualified to teach all levels in the Usui / Holy Fire tradition 

including Reiki I, II, ART, & Master.


Pre-Requisites: Reiki I, II, & Advanced Reiki Training (ART) Training (If you received Reiki ART training from any other Usui / Tibetan or Holy Fire Reiki Master, please scan and email a copy of your certificate to spiritguidance33@gmail.com.)


Reiki Master training will include...


  • Introduction to the powerful Holy Fire symbol
  • Two Usui/Holy Fire Master Ignitions & Healing Fire Ignition
  • Instruction on how to give Reiki attunements for Reiki I, II, & ART as well as the ignitions for Reiki Master
  • The Healing Attunement that can be given to anyone and directs the powerful attunement energies to heal.
  • Reiki meditations for inviting in more clarity, creativity, gratitude, & forgiveness into your life
  • The Heavenly Banquet Hall Experience, which allows you to meet with your Reiki Master Teachers
  • Lots of practice time giving attunements to the other students in the class
  • How to give yourself attunements and ignitions.
  • Practical tips on how to teach Reiki and develop a reiki practice
